Amnesty International Artwork

amnesty outsidebwRecently the charity Amnesty International asked me to create an artwork for the front of their East London HQ. Each of the elements within this artwork references one of the human rights causes that the charity works with.

As well as this I created another artwork on the inside of the building of some of the individual campaigners, which I will post soon.

The whole thing was filmed by Nick JS Thompson, and the video can be seen below.

Last week my 6th solo show, and 2nd in Italy opened at Mirada Gallery in Ravenna. Most of the work was transported to the gallery in a suitcase, and the rest was done on site.

This was the first time I exhibited woodcuts and video.

Big thanks to:

Nick JS Thompson, Antonella, Mirko, Mirada Gallery, Ravenna Arts Academy, All at Fargo and the Library

On the 9th of May I will be having my second Italian solo show, this time in Galleria Mirada in Ravenna. Named after a Dylan Thomas poem, Deaths And Entrances will be the first time I have exhibited woodcuts, linoprints, tape drawings, and paintings together.

Above is the new A3 linoprint ‘Futility’, that will be released at the show.

If you’re reading this in Italy and you’re free on the 9th come visit.

Traffic Gallery Italy Exhibition

after-negroni-diptychLast month I was invited to participate in the Jacopo Negretti inspired exhibition at Traffic Gallery in Italy.

I decided to go over and get inspired by the town in which he lived, before creating the works for the show.

Above are the two tape drawings I created for the show: After Negroni 1 & 2.

Thanks to Roberto Ratti and Traffic Gallery.
